A few years ago, we spent a day in Lisbon are part of a cruise. Then, we spent our time hitting the major sights and then rushing back to the ship. We've always wanted to return there.

This time, in addition to exploring more of Lisbon, we're going to use the city as a base to travel from. First, we plan to allocate plenty of time for walking around and getting to know the city.

Heading out of Lisbon, the first adventure will be with our favorite travel partner - Globus. We may catamaran off the Portuguese coast or carafe some Spanish sherry, or glide into rhythm with Flamenco (well, maybe not me). The Globus Toasting and Coasting: Portugal and Spain by Design takes us from Lisbon across southern Portugal and southwest Spain.

First off, we never made it to Seville when we last passed through the area in 2019, so we're looking forward to that this time!

The tour focuses on southern Portugal and the southwest coast of Spain. These will be all new experiences for us.

The Globus tour ends back in Lisbon, but our time won't.

At this point, a year out, we're not sure what's going to be on the itinerary, but we'll figure it out....

Who knows, we may want to head north to check out the area around Porto, or just wander and enjoy the city before moving on to....
