We're heading out west in August 2024 with our grandkids in tow.
The adventure starts as we head out from Salt Lake City to our first stop at Dinosaur National Monument. We visited here in 2021 and have been itching to get our grandkids here ever since.
At the Dinosaur Quarry Exhibit Hall we'll see a wall of dinosaur fossils. There's more than 1,500 bones of these amazing creatures still encased in the rock. Displays and educational material abound, and you can actually touch some of the embedded bones. Awesome place.
Moab, Utah is the next destination, home to Arches National Park. The Colorado River runs east and west between the town and the national park. The region offers a ton of adventure options for all ages. Our list of activities include the following:
For our stay in Moab, we'll be bunking at the Homewood Suites. Some of the advantage here include easier access to food and activities. Let me know if you want me to book the rooms for you.
